It sounds so cliché to say the years pass quickly and babies grow so fast but when you photograph children, you realize just how much truth is in that statement. It really does seem like only a few weeks ago I was photographing sweet Miss Aubree’s newborn photos. I’ve created her portraits about every 6 months and watched her change from a tiny, sleepy baby to the active, precocious preschooler she is today. She’s wild and spunky but oh so sweet!

The great Annie Leibovitz said it best. “A thing you see in my pictures is that I was not afraid to fall in love with these people.”  This is everything. As an artist…as a mother…as a human…my heart and soul goes into everything I create.

The amazing families that welcome me into their lives to document everything that is most important in this world to them truly have part of my heart. I watch your children grow and see so much love, connection, relationship dynamics and personalities. I get to be a part of so many amazing moments that fill me with emotion and reinforce my passion for this art and for this life. Each and every one of you is part of my family. I can’t thank you all enough for allowing me to be a part of your family as well.
