Houston Newborn Photographer | Caleb
One of the biggest concerns I hear from parents about their upcoming newborn photo shoots is “what if my baby won’t sleep?” I can’t say it enough…DON’T WORRY! Awake baby portraits are just as beautiful as sleeping ones! Your session is going to last several hours and I have lots of tricks to get baby all cozy in dream land at some point while you are here.
Caleb came in for his newborn session at exactly 14 days new. Mom wanted lots of blue for her sweet baby boy. He’s got a big sister at home so the last 2.5 years have been sparkles and pink everywhere.
I absolutely adored this little pants and hat set that Mom found on Etsy. It coordinated perfectly with my favorite blue backdrop. Just in case you don’t know…I am slightly obsessed with Etsy! It is the best place to find unique, handmade items. You can find just about anything you can imagine there…but don’t say I didn’t warn you when you’ve spent 3 hours looking at things and have a shopping cart full of cool stuff!
I love it when I catch a little smirk!!
Sentimental items are always great to bring to your session! These two blankets were hand made by grandma.
Thank you so much A Family for trusting me to capture your handsome little man!

This really is the best part of hiring a professional! You can stand back and let them do their work. Even as a fellow professional in the field, I hire other professionals! As a mom- on picture day- I just want to be the mom and not worry! :D
