I’ve lived in Texas for 13 years now and this was my first year to do any portraits in the famous Texas bluebonnets. They really are quite beautiful but a little hard to find in central Houston! To get the postcard-esque rolling fields of flowers you really need to drive about 2 hours North West toward Austin. Well that’s not exactly convenient for mom’s of toddlers! Plus those lush fields are a favorite hiding place for snakes and fire ants….um…no thank you! I happened upon this great little patch in the middle of the city and knew it was the perfect safe spot for my clients.
I first met this precious family last fall when mom called me to capture Mr.G’s 18 month milestone photos. As we were going through the session pre-consultation to gather all the details to make our time together unique…I discovered they live just a few houses down from my parents! It’s a small world after all. My second session with them was just as amazing as the first. Little Mr.G is so loved and so loving! It gives me all the mushy feels the way he adores his momma!
Here’s what mom had to say about our time together:
What was your favorite part of your session?
Thank you so much G family!! I can’t wait to see you again this Fall for Mr.G’s 2 year portraits!
